High-End Perfection

Each material in the Survivalon has been selected for specific use on the ocean. The inner lining is a tightly woven all-cotton poplin that has been updated to be coated with silicone—it is highly windproof and water resistant, yet allows the wearer to move freely. The snaps are solid brass and nickel coated, or black anodized so it will not rust or corrode in the salty air. The draw cords and locks have stainless steel springs that are military standard. The zipper is of tent-camping quality, which was rare for a jacket in the seventies. Many aspects of this jacket are designed specifically to improve with time. The zipper, Velcro, and the flexibility will improve with each use. The Survivalon has been repeatedly tested, and when new technology comes out that may improve the jacket, the jacket is tested again. The jacket has a timeless style, but it will also last functionally for years.
